Just 'googled' 'Battlestations'.......and that seems a fair review...thanks M8......but what I'm looking for is something that will let me move the VAST units of 15mm Tanks and Infantry across a battlefield....thats simple and fun to play...and give me a result in about 3-4 hours.........Hummmmmmm...it's sounding more like Unchartered Seas the more I think about it! All the 28mm skirmish games I've tried don't fit the 15mm scale....all the 6mmm Sci-fi rules I've tried...work better as 6mm Sci-fi rules.....so,at the moment I'm left with working on a 'mish mash of different rules trying to get something that 'feels' right for 15mm Sci-fi. Any ideas ground pounders out there? Battlestations does look cool..........don't get me started......I've enough on my plate as it is!

I haven't played much historicals in years, although I think about getting into it from time to time. There's a ton of guys that play flames of war around here, beyond that there's no players for historical locally. For me Uncharted Seas is going to fit perfectly into that "land, air, and sea" miniatures battle game. The fact that it's fantasy is really more of a draw to find potential players than say a hard core historical. Plus I think it has the potential to be a much better game that most fantasy miniature games on the market.
I've heard good reviews about Future War Commander.
Some of us at the club have tried....and it seems like a really good set of rules,(I like BKC,and it virtually the same), but,I know it says its 'multi scale', first impressions are it aimed more at 6mm or smaller.....still going to give it a try!

you must have hit your head sin
uncharted IS THE BEST game on the market Pir6 Pir
Well Gavin and Chris are tired of me ranting about advanced rules but the advanced rulebook will be a key componet of the game for me and the introduction later of land troops. But yes, I did hit my head and correct myself, it is THE best game.

Well apart from US, I play: Slaughterloo Flintloque (1st edition) Panzerfauste HOTT Warhammer 40k Blood Bowl Necromunda (1st edition) Gangs of Mega City 1 Confrontation 3 Starship troopers (though it has been a while) Epic 40,000 (Squats!!!) Most of the time I'm doing artwork and photography stuff now so I really don't have time to paint miniatures. Big shame really. I actually prefer painting and modelling to gaming usually. I do enjoy playing US though. haven't got round to paitning my fleet just yet!!!

Good god man!!! How long have you had that fleet... (He says with two unpainted fleets and a half painted one) Pir6 In my defence I have painted 5 fleets and host of other things.
