How are you mounting your ships when painting?

I'm using bamboo skewers found at most grocery stores in the asian or grill sections.  They are the same size as the bases, have a sharp point to stick into a block of foam while drying and they are dirt cheap.

Been doing this as well.

Works really well, I use Blue Tack on the flat end to hold the ship in place, then Ninja Magic Mag connectors to base on the flight stands when done.

I went to the local hardware store and bought 4 feet of 1/8 inch wooden dowel for 33 cents.  Just cut off a piece of appropriate length as needed.
