Nice. You managed to avoid making them look like a fire brigade or the coast guard, which is a problem with red a lot of the time.
Is that Macharite Red?

Very cool! I first saw the glow on your exhaust, and I though "Wow, glow in the dark pant?" That's some nice glow effects you got there. Simple, but effective.  But I bet Glow-in-the-Dark Paint would be cool. |

VERY nice! I love the way you've done the bridges on your cruisers in particular. Might have to go back and redo mine with that construction in mind. And the engine burn? I still can't figure how you did that! At first I thought it was actually glowing!

I like that colour scheme, it's a bit different from the straight black, though I must admit I'm not too keen on the kinda chequering on some of the ships

1. The Checkering is what I'm using to identify units. 2. Paints used - Army Painter Black Primer
- Mechrite Red (GW)
- Magnetia Ink (GW)
- Jack Bone (P3)
Engines are pretty simple to do. First I painted the area with Chaos Black (GW). I then painted the insidewith Cygnar Blue Base (P3). The next step was to use Bue Ink (P3) to cover the inside and the edges of the black. Once that dried i painted a horizontal strip of Trollblood Base (P3) and then inside that a strip of Sky Blue (Vallejo) from edge to edge. The last thing I did was to place a small amount of White (Vallejo) in the middle. |

Wow I cannot wait to try that flame effect on something!!!! Ive been painting minis for 30 years now and I always learn something new every time a game comes out !!!
Not sure how I can make that work on my sorylians dang it now im gonna have to buy another fleet ....Is it ok if I blame it on you...ya know when the wife asks ?? Love the color scheme too I must agree its cool to see red and white used without it looking fire engineish??? Sorta reminds me a little of the star blazer big red ship!!
