Hi all
Been a while since I posted on here, but real life is a swine..
Okay, I am part of a gaming group in Canterbury, Kent and we organise many events for people to pop in and play. We have events for Wargods, Warmachine, Hell Dorado, plus a few other games and now we would love to add Uncharted Seas to that list of events.
Our events are all sizes and have from between 6-30 participants.
We are planning on putting this on for February 27 2010 and a start time to be confirmed. What we would like to do at the moment is gauge interest in this and see whether it is worthwhile doing.
If you are interested, please leave your name and fleet you'll be using below and we can then sort out more details later on. The list below is for people that have spoken to us about this and may well be there on the day.
The location will be on the Canterbury University Campus on Tyler Hill. The exact location will follow later on.
The price of admission is FREE. We know that people make some long journeys to us so the least we can do is make it free.
The plan is for 600 point fleets to be played over a series of games.

If you are interested, simply copy the list of names and fleets above, paste this into your response and add your details to it. If you have any questions, put them on this thread and I will endeavour to answer them as and when I can.
We are advertising this early because we really would like to know how many tables and other pieces we need to plan for.
So, if you fancy some gaming with a group of people that play for fun then please come and join us for some high seas adventuring and copious amounts of dice rolling and general rambunctiousness.

Okay one and all, the event will have three scenario's each with different objectives.
It will be a blast and we will be joined by the lads from Black Pyramid Games so come on down for a laugh or two.
Bring some friends with you as well and we'll make this a party for Sea Dogs with a rather large Harrrrrrrrrrgh me hearties...
Any European lads interested?

IronJaw when is the your club's tournament in February? I believe your club is near Atlanta, GA. is this correct? If so perhaps I can gather up some of my game club and we could travel. Our club is just outside of Memphis, TN.

I'm hoping to set the date tonight, I'll be visiting the store and talking to the owner to find out what the procedure is for reserving the tables & such. It will be on a Saturday, either Feb 20 or 27.
