Hey thought id put a post just so people could mention their local gaming club as having people playing it.
just incase someone in your town who wants to play the game can find people to play with. Smiley

Well me and Krazus are at the Grimsby Wargaming Club in Grimsby so if you live near their and are looking for people to play give us a message Smiley

We currently have about 8 people looking at starting the game.

far as I know the rules don't ship till the 28th of this month so I can't imagine many.  There's some interest here in Minneapolis and I'm betting plenty of interest will be generated by the few of us playing games at the LGS.

Hi Grab,
thats correct, but until then if you down load and print everthingy they have on the download page, including the turn four example, you will have just about enough to try it and get the flavour. about the only thing you cannot try is the boarding rule. The rest does at times (As we found out on tuesday night) need a bit of common sense when the Q ref sheet and example dont quite cover it. And the people you are demoing it for, will always ask the most awkward questions that are the most difficult to answer with out the full rule book.

However with only what is available on line, and three demos, we now have 8-10 players up our club investing in the game.  Grin

Big Jim and I are from the South London Warlords...there's a lot of interest there for Uncharted Seas. We are both looking forward to giving in a bash in Sept. when the club re-starts after our summer break. Anyone interested in 'popping down', we're a freindly brunch of blokes...honest!, we have lots of 'stuff' going on...and always welcome new members whatever there gaming interests.

For all those interested, and live in or can get to the South London area, here's the web address for the South London Warlords. Grin Grin Grin

As I mentioned before, there's been a lot of interest in Uncharted Seas, so I'm sure we will be running games once we re-open in Sept. We play lots of different games on a Monday night, as well as having 'big Game Saturdays' every so often. We do most forms of wargaming from historical to fantasy and Sci-fi. Check out the website or drop by on a Monday night...I'm sure you would find something of interest. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Fang Sweet,

I wanted to go against the Orcs.  We will have to have a game or two for sure since we both are from Austin.

That is the idea! Grin
I have shown this game to the managment At DL.
They are all excited but will not commit to stocking it till they see the game.
That's why waiting for this stuff has been a pain. I hope to have a 4'X4' gaming
table ready to go in a week, islands and all. I can get the scale worked out as soon as I have the ships
in hand.

But at least I have the table  built and ready for paint.
